The public relations committee is frequently contacted by outside groups looking for speakers regarding cardiovascular and pulmonary topics. These groups include media looking for interviews, APTA headquarters seeking someone with a specific specialty/niche area of practice, organizations looking for a presenter at a conference and others. The public relations committee is attempting to compile a list of section members who would be interested in being contacted when these requests come in. If you are interested in being a resource for the section, please fill out the attached form. This speaker list will be used solely for the purpose of representing our section.
In most cases, there will not be remuneration for your services. If a group does wish to compensate a speaker, that will be between the speaker and that organization and the section will have no involvement.
